Jayasiri Jayasekara

Jayasiri Jayasekara has been a journalist for around 20 years. He worked at the Ravaya newspaper for 13 years, serving as features editor there for eight years. He then joined the newspaper Siyatha and is also a founding editor of the Lanka Herald website. As an active member of the local media freedom watchdog organization, Free Media Movement, and as a social activist, Jayasekara is a journalist who is passionate about using his profession to give voice to the voiceless.
